In 2008, he qualified for the Ironman World Championship in Kona by finishing second in his age group at Ironman Arizona with a time of 10:18:15. Dana was the top ranked triathlete in the USAT’s SMW region in 2007 and top ranked Masters Duathlete. He was the 2005 Duathlon Short Course National Age Group Champion, and in 2001 he placed 13th overall and 3rd in his age group at the Duathlon World Championships in Venray, Holland. In addition to being named USAT’s Master Duathlete of the Year in 2001, he has been the topped ranked Duathlete in the South Midwest Region for the past 5 years. He ran track and cross-country in high school and at Grove City College where he recorded a personal best time of 30:08 in the 10k run. His personal best in the marathon is 2:46. Dana recently learned that he was nominated for Lifetime Achievement for USAT SMW Region for his role as a coach and athlete. As much as he enjoys competing himself, Dana really loves helping others achieve their goals. Dana is a USAT Youth and Junior Coach and USAT Level II Certified Coach.
Jack was recently selected to be a member of USAT SMW Hall of Fame in 2015. Jack was also ranked 4th in the world in his AG. Jack certifications include: ASCA Certified Coach Level 4, High School, ASCA Certified Coach Level 3, USA Swimming.
Sharon embraces the coaching philosophy of training smarter, not harder. Sharon enjoys helping students achieve their race goals. For the past several years, Sharon has helped train SelecTRI athletes for success in triathlon. Sharon is certified by Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) and USAT Level I.
With previous experience teaching soccer and swimming, Amie decided to focus on triathlon coaching. She earned her certification as USAT Level I Triathlon Coach, USAT Youth and Junior Coach, Ironman Coach and RRCA Run Coach. Coach Amie has a passion for helping kids be active, have fun and learn sport skills that will last a lifetime.
