Bike Rentals
We know getting a road bike for your child is a major investment especially early on in their triathlon journey.
SelecTri has now invested in some road bikes to allow our team’s athletes try one out before committing to a long-term purchase. We’ve got a few different sizes so we can find the right one to give your child a great experience.
Program Details:
1 Race Rental ($25): Get a road bike 1 week before a race to allow your child to get comfortable on the bike. Use it for the race and bring it back at the first practice after the race or if it’s a team sponsored race, we’ll pick it up after the race.
1 Month Rental ($50): Get a road bike for 30 days – starting whenever is right for you. We’ll bring the bike to a practice and retrieve it from you at a future practice. This lets your child get some real experience on this style of bike – practices, races, etc.
That’s it – we’ll maintain the bikes and just ask you to replace tires that pop during the rental.
The goal of this program is to help you make an informed decision about whether a bike is right for you and is not intended to be a long-term bike rental program (so we can get our bikes out to other families interested).
